Polyethylene Glycol 3350 (PEG)

This calculator can be used to determine the appropriate dose of Polyethylene Glycol 3350 (also known as PEG) to give your child to treat constipation and clean out the bowel. The calculation is 3 grams of PEG per 1 kilogram of your child’s weight per day to a maximum of 100 grams or 6 caps of PEG per day.

Remember, every 1 cap (17 grams) of PEG should be given with 250 mL (or 8 oz) of liquid such as water, milk, or juice.
